The Turf Tavern in Oxford made great use of chalk art with varied & attractive typography. There was a consistent font for long passages of writing while titles and objects of interest stood out. Signboards and posters fit well with the motif of flowers, pots and even a bicycle.
Blackwell's and The College Campus Store included fascinating additions to their displays and decor. The dress made out of paper is elegant, crafty and has enough solid shapes and relation to the surrounding art books to justify its placement. Meanwhile, the chandelier in the campus store is eccentric and antique in appearance--an example of purposeful mismatching in the lampshades.
